If you didn’t make it out to watch London’s Bonfire Night fireworks displays, you have another chance this Saturday 12th November, as the Lord Mayor’s Firework Show lights up the sky. The show marks the beginning of a new Mayoral year, so it’s basically a big celebration for London’s main man Sadiq Khan. As well as putting on a river pageant and a procession over the course of the day, there will also be a spectacular evening display.
Now, you could watch the display, which kicks off around 5.15pm, while standing somewhere along the South Bank, freezing your tootsies off and drawing your coat in tighter for warmth… OR you could watch the fireworks while afloat on the Thames (on a boat, as opposed to your back), as you relax on a 2-hour cruise down the river, with enviable views of the display and a complimentary glass of fizz in hand. If that sounds like your cuppa tea – or flute of champagne – you can still nab yourself one of the remaining tickets on Fever for £25 here.
Note: Tickets for this event have now sold out.
