A fleet of bespoke (and oh-so beautiful) vintage hot air balloons are mere moments away from descending upon the gorgeous grounds of the Wormsley Estate for the sunny season. This summer, visitors will have the chance to hop aboard one of the (stationary) vibrant vehicles for an immersive dining experience like no other.
The picture-perfect hot air balloons come courtesy of yet another partnership with Feast Events. You might recognise the red-and-white balloons in question, as they’ve spent the past few (sold-out) summers in the gardens of The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire. But Feast on Cloud 9 has relocated for 2026, and the cute-as-a-button balloons will be perched proudly within the 18th-century Walled Garden at the Wormsley Estate in Buckinghamshire between August 1 and August 31.

Feast on Cloud 9
Feast is pretty well-known for hosting innovative experiential events. And whilst the surroundings are undeniably sensational, the focus is always on the food. So, the fact you’ll be sat in a gorgeous vintage hot air balloon, surrounded by acres upon acres of outrageously good-looking greenery is just an added bonus.
Guests can choose to tuck into a delicious afternoon tea or really push the boat balloon out and opt for a five-course tasting menu. Whichever you choose, your tastebuds will soar whilst your feet needn’t leave the ground. The afternoon tea will feature finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and an array of delicious sweet treats. Meanwhile the dinner menu is bursting at the seams with scrumptiousness; with the likes of garden pea velouté, roast pepper, aubergine and basil pithivier, fillet of beef, and even a milk chocolate plant pot being served up this year.
Balloons are available to book now and if the UK weather decides to – well… be completely on brand and rain, guests will enjoy their feast in the New Garden Barn next to the Walled Garden. You can find out more and plan your visit here.
