V For

On the first day of Veganmas, my true love gave to me, a huge vegan festival.

TBF, do you really need the other eleven days if they’ve already got you that? Brick Lane are playing host to a two week-long celebration of all things vegan, as V For kicks off on August 3rd. (For obvious reasons, they couldn’t call it V Festival). Included in this epic extravaganza is vegan food, vegan lifestyle events, and even festivals-within-the-festival (festception). All hail the power of the plants!

Every festival needs a big opening act, and V For is bringing out their big gun: Vegan Days. This free entry event will feature everything from vegan fried chicken and steaks, to ice cream and waffle mountains. Meanwhile, there’ll be an ethical marketplace, lots of wellness activities and plenty of bars for boozing. Vegan Days quickly turns into Vegan Nights – but unlike their usual Vegan Nights that generally take place on a school night, this party is going to get wild. Tickets cost £15 and you can purchase them here.

Throughout the rest of the festival, you can get involved in everything from rooftop yoga and vegan speed dating, to bath bomb workshops and climate & sustainability talks. There will also be ethical fashion from the likes of ETHCS taking over the Old Truman Brewery, whilst Bare Fashion go a step further and throw London’s first vegan fashion show on August 10. We’re all V For it!
