There’s nothing quite like the feeling once all the Christmas decorations are up, ready, and shining out bright across your house or through the streets. The V&A has just unlocked that very feeling, unveiling their stunner of a Christmas tree for 2024 for all to see throughout the winter season.
You’ll be able to see the ‘All Lit Up’ Christmas tree by artist Anna Lomax from today (last week of November is as perfect a sweet spot for putting up the tree) until January 5, 2025.

‘All Lit Up’ by Anna Lomax
‘All Lit Up’ is a shimmering LED installation that strays from the form of a traditional Christmas tree while still adhering to the picture of festivity that many look for at this time of year. Nothing says Christmas more than the bright shine of a glimmering light out across the dark streets as the days become shorter, and that’s exactly what can be enjoyed outside the V&A.
Anna Lomax’s design is a beautiful setting against the Cromwell Road entrance to the V&A, and links trees both in the natural world and those as man-made structures as connectors of life and growth.
Speaking on the unveiling of her tree, Anna Lomax said: “It’s an honour to be invited to design the 2025 V&A Christmas Tree adding to the line of amazing designers that have had the opportunity before me. My design for the 2025 V&A Christmas Tree uses the iconic V&A dome columns as a starting point but giving them an actual playful twist, embodying the ‘Christmas Spirit’ through a spectacle of light.”
You’ll be able to see the Christmas tree installation shining out through Kensington at the Cromwell Road Entrance of the V&A from today (November 25) until January 5, 2025.
