Squirrel, the healthy hangout in South Kensington, has its very own treehouse and we’re nuts for it.
Serving up nothing but bright and beautiful food – Squirrel’s produce is all ethically sourced and chosen based on its health benefits. From breakfast to dinner and everything in between, your food will be made right in front of your eyes with ingredients picked from inside a 21ft fallen oak tree.
You can either choose from the menu or go nuts and create your own dish. Squirrel have a selection of salads including the Kale Yeah with salmon, kale, sweet potato, etc, or the Absolutely Radishing with hummus, quinoa, cauliflower, and more. There’s also a bunch of grain bowls on the menu, such as the Guac ‘n’ Roll with chicken, brown rice, black beans, avocado, tortilla chips, etc. The salads and grain bowls are also available as wraps.
Squirrel caters for all, no matter their dietary preferences or requirements. So everyone’s welcome, including especially little doggos.
Sit within the restaurant’s magical treehouse and look out over the treetops. It’s the cutest way to escape the madness, even just for a moment.
The grazing bar is an adorable set up where you can help yourself to a variety of snacks to ‘squirrel away’ for the day, including mixed nuts and dried fruits.
There’s also a selection of water infusions and ice teas available from the Drinking Well – you just have to purchase a cup and then you can help yourself to as many as you want.
Elsewhere in the restaurant, you’ll find yourself surrounded by beautiful botanicals and potted plants aplenty. It truly is an Instagrammer’s paradise.
