The beloved brand that helped shape the style of many millennials (and gave us the perfect central London meeting point) is finally returning to the high street later this year. But before making what could quite possibly be the comeback of the century, Topshop is hosting a pop-up event in London this very weekend.
Unfortunately it won’t be taking place at the legendary London landmark that was its former flagship store on Oxford Street. Mainly because that very same building has recently reopened as a shiny new IKEA store. The pop-up event, Topshop In The House, will instead be happening over in Shoreditch, ahead of the brand’s official return to the high street at some point in August.

Topshop In The House
For one day (and sadly, one day only), Topshop will be partnering with Defected Records to bring a pop-up event to the capital city, with a big dollop of nostalgia on the side. Set to be a nod to the iconic basement parties that used to take place at the Oxford Street site, the shop is popping up on Saturday May 10 to celebrate the launch of Topshop and Topman‘s new Ibiza-inspired collection.
The Talamanca collection will feature a whole host of summer holiday pieces that pay tribute to Ibiza’s ‘creativity, laid-back vibe and bohemian charm’. There’s also set to be artwork by Russ Jones on display, ice-cold cocktails at hand, a make-up team on-site, and – of course – some banging music, courtesy of Defected Records. Unfortunately, all of the pre-bookable shopping slots have been snapped up, but there will be a limited number of walk-in spaces available on the day. Happy shopping, Londoners!
Topshop In The House will be taking place at 23 Curtain Road, EC2A 3LT on Saturday May 10. The pop-up shop will be open between 10am and 6pm and there will be limited walk-in spaces available.
