The Tiffany Blue Box Cafe is found in suitably posh surroundings.
Everyone from Truman Capote to Deep Blue Something is hungry for Breakfast At Tiffany’s, so it’d be pretty churlish of you to turn down such a gilded opportunity to indulge. Having opened at Harrods earlier this year, the Tiffany Blue Box Cafe invites you to embrace your inner Holly Golighty with sumptuous design, delicious plates of food, and the wish fulfilment of living out the glamorous lifestyle of Audrey Hepburn.
London’s cafe is the first Tiffany’s cafe in Europe, and is set to mirror the style and service of the original, on Fifth Avenue in New York. You’ll find swathes of Tiffany blue over the walls, furniture, and crockery, which is supposed to evoke the feeling of dining inside one of their much-coveted blue boxes – except here, you are the jewels (n’awww).
You can bling out your breakfast with the likes of eggs Florentine with spinach, brown butter hollandaise, and potato rosti, or the Fifth Avenue bagel, topped with Faroe Islands smoked salmon, whipped cream cheese, cucumber, lemon, and dill. Because breakfast should never be dull, dahlings. There’s also a dainty Tiffany Tea for afternoon tea fans, which features patisserie inspired by the brand and its history.
The cafe is open once again after the coronavirus pandemic, and is currently accepting reservations. Tiffany’s will be accepting a limited number of walk-ins, but as this is a rather in-vogue spot, it might be best to nab yourself a spot in advance to be sure. Time to live the high life!
