Kentish Town Sauna Is To Become A Crystal Maze-Style Escape Game!

Can you believe that hidden below this rather unattractive Cash Converters in Kentish Town was once a sauna? And now, ladies and gentlemen, this sauna is set to be transformed into an immersive ‘escape game’, where visitors must overcome challenges in an attempt to free themselves from the room.

The company requesting to take over the old sauna, Mission Evasion, already have games of a similar nature running in France. The increasing popularity of escape games and immersive theatre in London has shot up over the past year.

At the beginning of 2016, the official Crystal Maze company began selling tickets to people wanting to take part in the re-vamped classic nineties game, which is set to open in a ‘secret location’ in March this year.

If you fancy taking part in immersive theatre and escape games yourself, have a look at the things Co Lab theatre or Handmade Mysteries are running. Check out our review on ‘Hostage’ – it was pretty terrifying…
