Calling all monster-hunters, lords and ladies, kings and queens, adventurers and bards, a special immersive experience is coming to London this summer that you won’t want to miss. To celebrate the release of Season Three of the hit Netflix series The Witcher a special Witcher-themed maze is popping up for just one weekend. But only the bravest should enter, because danger lurks around every corner.
The maze opens to the public today to coincide with the global Netflix launch of Season 3 Volume 1 of The Witcher. To experience all the action, just head on down to Central London’s immersive gallery, art, and performance space, The Outernet.
Singing bards will welcome guests into the maze to experience the world of Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri. But beware, because a beast awaits you somewhere within the twists and turns of the maze. If you can find your way out of the maze you’ll nab yourself a complimentary Witcher-themed treat and a chance to bask in your glory at The Witcher Bathhouse.
Need a refresher on your Witcher lore? Here’s a quick run-down on what to expect from Season 3:
As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where they hope to uncover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery. They must fight back, put everything on the line – or risk losing each other forever.
