Enjoy panoramic views of London with a taco in hand.
Endless views, tacos, and margaritas. If that sounds like your definition of heaven, you’ve come to the right place. Madera sits atop Marylebone’s Treehouse hotel and truly lives up to the theme. At this Los Angeles-born Mexican restaurant, you’ll find stunning interiors, green foliage, and sweeping views of London.
Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, Madera focuses on authentic Mexican flavour and organic ingredients. On the menu you’ll find Mexican classics as well as reimagined dishes, spanning everything from chicken tacos to Mexican sashimi. The food is great and the vibes are stylish — basically, everything you’d expect from a restaurant in LA.
Start your day with a coconut parfait or carne asada & eggs for breakfast. Brunch boasts a slightly expanded menu, with pan planos, salads, and desserts catering to your sweet or savoury taste.
Dinner offers up a mix of small plates (think guac, fried calamari), salads, pan plano, large plates (salmon, enchiladas, fajita bowls), a raw bar, and, of course, tacos. It’ll be hard to choose between the chicken mixiote, king prawn, carne asada, and duck carnitas variety, as they all sound incredibly delicious. For those who prefer their tacos meatless, Madera also has an entirely vegan menu.
But don’t forget the cocktails! A Mexican meal isn’t complete without a margarita (or three…). Actually, you can get an entire margarita flight featuring their toca margarita, guava margarita, and passionfruit margarita. Anything to relieve that decision fatigue…
It comes with one menu option and one side, plus unlimited madera churros if you order one for brunch.
It’s safe to say we’ll be spending a lot of time up in the treehouse this autumn and winter. For more information or to book a spot, visit Treehouse London’s website.
