The Ned can be found slap-bang in the centre of the city, and it’s now serving up a series of expert masterclasses, allowing visitors to step inside the gorgeous Grade I listed former bank and whip up something truly scrumptious.
Pasta masterclasses at The Ned, London
Surrounded by the energetic hum of diners digging into their delicious meals at Cecconi’s (The Ned’s in-house Italian restaurant), masterclass-goers will be welcomed with a glass of prosecco before getting to work. The head chef, Roberto, will talk you through everything you need to know, giving you the best techniques, tips, and tricks of the trade. You’ll then head to your workspace (which’ll be kitted out with all of the ingredients and utensil you’re going to need) where you’ll have free reign to knead, roll, and shape to your heart’s content.
The immersive, hands-on masterclass is such a fun foodie experience, giving visitors a real behind-the-scenes glimpse into the restaurant. The experience takes place inside The Ned’s breathtakingly beautiful main hall, and the marble columns, high ceilings, arched windows, hanging light fixtures and classic checkered floors make for a dramatically dreamy backdrop to the whole experience.
Once you’ve finished creating your mini masterpieces, you can pack them away and take them away to cook for yourself at home – because your hard work is done. You’ll then hand the baton back over to the experts and sit down to enjoy a mouth-watering meal, whipped up for you by the expert chefs at Cecconi’s.
