The Libertines have just announced a giant headline show in London next summer, with the quartet taking to Gunnersbury Park for an outdoor party on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
Joining Pete Doherty, Carl Barat and co. is a truly stacked bill, which includes very special guests Supergrass, as well as Soft Play, Hak Baker, Lambrini Girls, and Real Farmer. Tickets for The Libertines at Gunnersbury Park go on sale at 10am this Friday (November 8).
It comes after The Libertines released their fourth studio album earlier this year, with All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade scoring the band their second UK number album. With all members living in different cities, the Gunnersbury Park gig will be a homecoming show spanning their career from 2002’s Up The Bracket to the present day.
Speaking on the show, The Libertines said: “The old white mansion in Gunnersbury Park is in one of our favourite films, The Lavender Hill Mob, so we thought we’d bring the Eastern Esplanade mob and some spiky guitars to that Arcadian glade in West London for a good ol’ homecoming knees up. Look forward to seeing you there, along with our friends Supergrass, Soft Play, Hak Baker, Lambrini Girls and Real Farmer. Love Peter, Carl, Gary and John X”
Supergrass join them as main support, with the Oxford band remaining a culturally adored band more than 30 years after their debut album I Should Coco, which went straight to number one. Expect a greatest hits set from Gaz Coombes and the band as they take to the London outdoors at Gunnersbury Park.
Be sure to arrive early for the unique voice of Hak Baker, punk duos Soft Play and Lambrini Girls, as well as garage punk band Real Farmer.
The Libertines play Gunnersbury Park on Saturday, August 9 2025, with tickets going on sale here this Friday, November 8 at 10am. Both an artist and an O2 Priority pre-sale will take place on Wednesday, November 6 at 10am.
