Pack your dancing shoes, glitter and wellies, The Cambridge Club Festival will be taking over the idyllic Childerley Orchards this Summer.
In a matter of weeks, stages will spring up among the twisted trunks of age-old apple trees and food trucks will set up shop on the freshly cut fields; filling the air with delicious aromas and the infectious beats of dance-inducing music. The feel-good Cambridge Club Festival is known to entice a variety of disco-devotees, sun-worshippers (weather gods don’t fail us now) and Instagram-obsessed-foodies to its gates, promising a feast of music and arts that will satiate any cultural hunger.
Drenched in soulful summer vibes and old-school disco nostalgia, this family-friendly festival boasts an impressive line up to suit all music tastes: Rag’N’Bone Man, Jack Savoretti, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Beverley Knight are just a few of the performers that will take to the stage. Plus, if you’re a weekend camper then the party continues into the early hours, with DJ sets pumping from the neon-lit After Dark Stage. All this is just under an hours train ride from London, in the picture-perfect Cambridgeshire countryside.
Festival-goers can choose between dancing all three nights away and crashing in pre-pitched tents with a weekend ticket, or just going for the day if you prefer to return to the comforts of home. Fancy a bit of both? There is also glamping on the menu. Pick from a bell tent, a fully-furnished Arabian Bedouin Tent or a luxury Geo Dome – all with plenty of space and, most importantly, access to hot showers.
