The Black Keys are on something of a hot streak of late, announcing their third album in as many years. They took to Instagram this afternoon to confirm that their new record, Peaches, would be released on May 1.
Alongside the news, it has also been revealed that they’ll play a pair of headline shows in London this summer after the release of Peaches, with two gigs lined up at the Hammersmith Apollo on August 31 and Brixton Academy on September 1. On both nights, the band will be supported by Robert Finley.

Peaches will be the band’s 14th studio album, and follows No Rain, Now Flowers from last year, and Ohio Players from 2024. You should be able to hear plenty of new material live on the London shows, which will be their first in the city since May 2024. The pair of shows follow the The Black Keys playing gigs in the US, as well as a duo of festival appearances at Rock en Seine in Paris and Victorious Festival in Portsmouth.
At the same time as today’s album announcement, the duo also dropped their first single from the record, which is titled You Got To Lose, and can be listened to now.
