Where to eat
Every summer, Taste of London brings together the city’s beloved neighbourhood heroes, fantastic fine dining experiences and hot new openings, making for a truly unrivalled five days of eating and drinking.
Making its festival debut this year is Guy Ritchie’s infamous, waitlisted gastro pub, Lore of the Land, as well as sleek, fine-dining Asian eatery TING by Shangri-La at The Shard. And be sure to try the very best of Mexican and Japanese fusion cuisine from Los Mochis.
Also spicing up this year’s roster is Akira Back, London’s fresh new opening offering Korean and Japanese flavours, along with the curing, smoking and preserving masters at Smoke & Salt. You can also get a taste of Barcelona with irresistible Catalonian dishes from The Campaner and enjoy a nostalgic tribute to India’s vibrant seventies scene at Notting Hill’s Empire Empire. Visiting on Wednesday? Hackney’s buzzy hi-fi bar Bambi will also be making its first appearance as the Daily Special.
But fear not, plenty of favourites from years gone by will also be returning, such as renowned French restaurant Le Petit Beefbar, The Shard’s Oblix, luxe Knightsbridge Chinese restaurant Chai Wu, and robatayaki restaurant Roka.
Things to do
Previous guests of Taste of London will know that there’s so much more than just food on the menu at this festival. You can also sink your teeth into theatrical live experiences, chef-led demonstrations, interactive masterclasses, and educational workshops – all available on a first come, first served basis.
Taste Cook School will be back with a line-up of chefs who will be sharing their very best tips and tricks to try in your own kitchen. The likes of Michelin Green Starred Chantelle Nicholson, the first female winner of the Great British Menu, Kate Austen, and author and co-founder of Caribbean supper club, Island Social Club, Marie Mitchell will all be there to share some words of wisdom!
For flame-fuelled demonstrations with the city’s top talent, be sure to visit The Taste Fire Pit, where top chefs will showcase their signature dishes. Learn from John Chantarasak, who was recently awarded a Michelin star for new opening AngloThai, former Bubula executive chef Helen Graham and Michelin-starred Pascal Aussignac of Club Gascon.
Leading Korean chefs such as Jihun Maxime Kim, 2025 Michelin-starred Executive Chef at Dosa, and the host of Korean Food Made Simple, Judy Joo, will also teach guests more about the heritage of their cuisine at the debut of this year’s K-Food BBQ Cook School.
And don’t forget to explore a curated selection of over 170 Artisan Producers, where you can discover new brands, take part in tastings, and even walk home with some epic gifts.
Where To Drink
Taste of London may be a food festival at heart, but it takes its drinks just as seriously. Enjoy a cocktail specially crafted to suit your tastes and complement Taste of London dishes at Diageo’s ‘What’s Your Cocktail?’ Bar, or toast with a glass of bubbles at the Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Bar, where there are also interactive games, entertainment and yummy food pairings.
Whatever your go-to tipple, there are plenty of spots across the festival where you can just hang out and soak up the vibes with a drink in hand. Relax in a picnic lounger and listen to lovely live acoustic music with a Jack Daniel’s whisky cocktail, or sip mouth watering el Jimador tequila cocktails whilst enjoying the sounds of live DJ sets, and much more.
As always, you can take your Taste of London experience to the next level with access to the exclusive VIP Lounge, which offers a complimentary snack bar, live entertainment and garden games. VIP guests will also enjoy fast-track entry and a glass of champagne to enjoy with their favourite dishes.
