Some films are just classics. No matter how often we watch them, they provide pure comfort and a sense of everything being right in the world. Now, imagine you could indulge in your favourite film in a brand-new way. We’re not talking about just watching them, but eating them too. Yep, Taste Film has taken immersive film screenings and elevated them to eat-along film screenings in London, and we’re so on board.
Taste Film – with venues in Kensal Green, Moorgate, Deptford, and the business centre – makes film-watching totally immersive: it’s a dining experience, it’s a film-watching experience, and it’s a lot of fun.
So, how exactly does Taste Film work?
Taste Film screens some of the most loved blockbusters at Parlour in Kensal Green, The Refinery in the Citypoint building, Moorgate, and now its most recent addition, The Moniker on Fenchurch Avenue, at the heart of London’s business centre. These eateries provide the perfect atmosphere to settle down for a few hours and get comfy for an intimate screening. However, forget the bog-standard popcorn; here, you’ll be served a terrific multi-course meal with a drink, timed to the film.
The immersive experience offers vegan and gluten-free menu options, plus non-alcoholic drinks, so most dietary requirements are catered for. All you need to do is roll up to the venue 30 minutes before your film starts, and come with an appetite for good food and good entertainment.
