‘The Circus’ is coming to town this week, and Take That fans are flocking to see it.
The famous tour by the Manchester band is rolling into London for multiple shows this week, bringing back The Circus after originally playing the tour 17 years ago.
In 2009, on its initial run, ‘The Circus’ tour broke records as the fastest-selling tour in history, with 600,000 tickets sold in less than five hours. It was named after their 2008 album, which was their second release following their reunion. Now, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen are bringing it all back for another run.

Take That are playing a healthy trio of shows in the capital this weekend, taking to the London Stadium for their triumphant run of ‘The Circus’. Three nights in a row? Go on then. Here’s when Take That are playing:

Who are the support acts for Take That on ‘The Circus’ tour?
Two very big names are on hand to suit the huge occasion of the return of ‘The Circus’. Belinda Carlisle will be belting out the likes of Heaven Is A Place On Earth and Leave A Light On to get the crowds going, with The Script running through The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, Breakeven, and the like before Take That hit the stage.
What are the stage times for Take That in London this week?
The exact stage times for Take That at the London Stadium have not yet been confirmed. However, there are approximate times available based on those that have been used across ‘The Circus’ shows in other cities on the tour, which have not yet been deviated from. These are as follows:
- 5pm – doors open
- 6:25pm – Belinda Carlisle
- 7:20pm – The Script
- 8:30pm – Take That
- 10:30pm – curfew

On the shows throughout the tour, Take That have started off on a ‘B-Stage’ for the first seven songs, before moving onto the main stage for the bulk of the set, and concluding with a two-track encore. Never rule out any changes or surprises for different shows, though!

There are also verified resale sites, such as Twickets, which you can keep an eye out for tickets on if they’re running lower or you can’t find a spot in your desired area of the stadium.
What is the bag policy for Take That at the London Stadium?
You can read a full guide to safety and security at the London stadium on the venue’s website. The venue recommends avoiding carrying a bag where possible, but notes that: “All bags will be subject to a search regime. Large bags are not permitted and there are no left luggage facilities”.
Keeping cool in the heat
As you’ll be aware, it’s been hot in London this week. So much so that amber and red warnings for heat have been put in place by the Met Office. As such, the venue has said: “We are closely monitoring the forecast for our shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and have measures in place to support the safety and wellbeing of all attendees.”
Fans have been advised not to camp outside the stadium, and to stick to areas with shade if arriving to the stadium’s grounds early on the day of a show. There will also be a 50% reduction to prices of water in the stadium, with fans also permitted to carry water in through reusable bottles, as well as plastic bottles with the lid off. There are also drinking water points both inside the stadium and in the outside areas.

Getting to the London Stadium
The London Stadium is served by a number of stations, with Stratford serving as the most popular station on days of events with the Elizabeth line, Central line, Jubilee line, DLR, National Rail, and Overground services all running through the station.
Pudding Mill Station (DLR) and Hackney Wick station (London Overground) are also a short walk from the stadium on the day of the gig.
The following buses also run close to the stadium on the day: 388, 308, 339, and D8.
These buses also run to Stratford or Stratford City bus stops, which are 15 minutes away from the stadium: 25, 69, 86, 97, 104, 108, 158, 241, 257, 262, 276, 308, 339, 425, 473, and D8.
