Summer is synonymous with cocktail drinking. Fact.
Here are some of the best places to sip on cool, alcoholic beverages in London this season; from frozen margaritas to boozy Twister ice lollies.
1. Carluccio’s – a Sicilian Spritz or a Sofia
⭐ Sponsored. ⭐
When it comes to cocktails, Carluccio’s certainly don’t mess around. This summer, they’ve got some excellent choices on the menu, including the Sicilian Spritz with Tanqueray gin, limoncello and Prosecco, and the Sofia with Tanqueray, rosemary, botanicals and soda. But the best part about Carluccio’s summer cocktails is the food they are served with. And lucky for you, they’ve got some pretty sweet offers on cocktails and food combos. Enjoy a Sofia and a delicious plate of hearty Italian pasta for just £13.99 (excluding the seafood linguine, crab & langoustine tagliolini and specials), a Sicilian Spritz and freshly baked focaccia for £10.99, or, if you’re looking for a lively start to the day, tuck into Carluccio’s heroic Magnifica breakfast and a Bloody Mary for £14.99. With food for anyone and everyone, including plenty of gluten free, veggie and vegan options, you can always rely on Carluccio’s.
Head over to Fever to claim one of the offers and then make your way to one of Carluccio’s many London restaurants in order to redeem it.
2. Camino – Frozen G&T
Step aside frosé, because Camino have only gone and slushified the beloved gin and tonic! Choose from a classic frozen G&T, or top it with one of their homemade botanical syrups: rosemary, Seville orange, or strawberry and pink peppercorn.
Find Camino at 2 Curtain Road, EC2A 3BL. (Please note that frozen G&Ts are only available in their Shoreditch restaurant.)
3. Bobby Fitzpatrick’s – The Blake Swizzle
Bobby Fitzpatrick, the retro bar in West Hampstead, has a wonderfully tropical cocktail menu, with rum at its core. Try The Blake Swizzle – an excellent balance of chilli-spiced rum with triple sec, lime, sugar and sweet vanilla.
Find Bobby Fitzpatrick at 273 West End Lane, NW6 1QS.
4. Skylight – Watermelon Mojito
London’s very own rooftop playground has an equally playful cocktail menu. Try your hand at croquet or pétanque, and make sure there’s a Watermelon Mojito in the other. A mixture of Bacardi Carta Blanca with lime, sugar syrup, watermelon and mint leaves.

Now here’s the throwback we’ve all been waiting for. This magnificent creation is made with Grey Goose Le Poire, Mozart strawberry, kiwi sherbet, a dash of milk, an egg and garnished with an ice lolly. The perfect crossover between nostalgia and adulting.
