Secret Cinema are taking the party online this weekend.
For those who feel like their world has been turned upside down recently, we’ve got just the party for you. Secret Cinema, fresh off the backs of a bitchin’ Stranger Things themed experience, are hosting an online lockdown party on Sunday, April 12th, filled with 80s tunes, questionable dance moves, and even more questionable costumes. I suppose no-one knows how to find fun during odd times better than the residents of Hawkins, Indiana, after all. The lockdown party aims to lighten the mood with a little bit of dancing, for which they’ve roped in DJs Caz Coronel and Mr Mafro. Expect big 80s hits when the party kicks off at 9pm, perfectly selected to get you out on your dancefloor of choice.
The dress code is simply ‘1985’, so don’t be afraid to bust out the denim jackets and leg warmers in celebration. Tickets will set you back £5 plus booking fee, and once they’ve deducted the streaming costs and service charges, the profits will be donated to the Trussell Trust, a charity which aims to end hunger and food poverty in the UK. A really lovely gesture, and one we can definitely celebrate with a boogie!
