Ahh, remember the good old days? Nokia 3310s, not having to pay bills, nicking your parents booze and sneaking out to unsupervised house parties… Life really was simpler back then, wasn’t it? And although we can’t really help you with the bill-paying thing, what we can do is point you in the direction of a brand new bar that will transport you right back to those house-partying days.
Redefining London‘s nightlife scene, House Party is Soho’s newest bar on the block, created by internationally-renowned musician, Stormzy, and leading hospitality group, Cream Group. Designed to resemble the look and feel of a typical adolescent house party; the brand new venue features seven unique floors, jam-packed with nostalgia.
Each floor replicates a different room in a typical house – well, that is if your idea of a typical house includes a roof terrace and treehouse. Stormzy’s Soho spot will deliver everything you’d expect from a classic house party. We’re talking red cups, comfy sofas (perfect for a late-night DMC), big old slices of pizza (delivered in-house by a delivery man), beer pong – and the very best part – not having to clean up the morning after. The experience will also include immersive actors and performers as well as interactive surprises along the way.
Now, this is Stormzy’s gaff, so the music offering is obviously going to be top-notch, too. Party-goers can expect performances from some of the most sought-after DJs and artists, who will be spinning decks in the kitchen until the early hours of the morning. In true house party fashion, there will also be aux cables in each room, so that (brave) guests can connect their phones and play their own music.
Every inch of the venue is free to explore and enjoy. Whether you fancy an evening playing retro video games, a night belting your heart out with a karaoke sesh in the master bedroom, or a cocktail and a boogie in the kitchen; there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Each room in the house is also available for private hire. There really is no place like home Stormzy’s house.
Stormzy, Co-Founder of House Party, says: “I’ve always loved the energy of a classic house party – it’s where the best memories are made. We wanted to create a nostalgic experience where everyone is welcome, and no two nights are the same. We all know everyone wants to go to a house party, nobody really wants to host one – and this is exactly what this house is for.”
I bet you never thought you’d be invited to a house party at Stormzy’s humble abode, hey?
