If you’re in desperate need of being whisked off to the Mediterranean for a delicious dose of sun, sea, and sensational food; we can’t really help you, I’m afraid. If you could manage without the sun and the sea, however; we can certainly point you in the direction of some sensational Mediterranean food. And that direction, my friends, is Dalston.
Perched proudly on Kingsland High Street is a twinkling gem in London’s treasure trove of restaurants. The Stone Cave is warm, welcoming, and wonderfully authentic. Three character traits that make for a pretty brilliant restaurant, don’t you think?
Serving up a jam-packed menu of traditional and oh-so tasty dishes, the lovely lot at Stone Cave seriously know what they’re doing. And it’s unsurprising that pretty much every review they’ve received is as glowing as the lanterns hanging from the ceiling of the restaurant.
The menu features a wide variety of dishes, ranging from small plates to pretty darn hefty ones. From the super fresh calamari and the mouth-watering spinach and feta parcels to the incredible kebabs and seafood; everything is super fresh and made especially to order. The only thing that possibly outshines the food here is the wonderful service. Oh, and the atmosphere is pretty great, too.
With it’s delicious food, quirky décor, and incredible service; this cosy cavern is a must-visit if you want your tastebuds to be transported straight to the Mediterranean. And who wouldn’t want that, right?
