What can you expect at Space Explorers: The ISS Experience?
There are no spacesuits or helmets required for this mission. Just slip on a VR headset, and the room around you will transform into the modular, tech-clad walls of the International Space Station. The footage has been filmed by real astronauts on board the ISS, allowing you to follow in their weightless footsteps. You’ll be able to explore this iconic research facility, laboratory and gateway to space that has welcomed fewer than 300 people over the course of its 25-year orbit, getting a rare glimpse into a world where only a few have ventured.
You won’t have to stay cooped up inside either, when the vast, mysterious expanse of space beckons, it would be rude not to answer. Space Explorers: The ISS Experience gives you the chance to enjoy your very own spacewalk, transporting you among the stars. There, you can gaze down at the Earth and maybe even experience the powerful feeling known as the ‘overview effect’, where the awe-inspiring views of our little blue marble suspended in the endless expanse of space evoke an emotional shift.

This gripping experience is adapted from Space Explorers: THE INFINITE, an internationally acclaimed production co-created by PHI Studio and Felix & Paul Studios, and is brought to London by Eclipso, the virtual reality maestros behind cultural VR experiences that bring history to life. Now, they are sending visitors into outer space, drawing inspiration from NASA missions to deliver an enlightening and reportedly pretty emotional experience. It’s a window into a world out of reach for many, with a wealth of rave reviews which praise the profound perspective it offers.
