July at Somerset House means one thing, and that’s opening up the favourite courtyard to a daily set of concerts in the height of the warm season.
Somerset House Summer Series has confirmed its return for 2026, announcing the lineup of headliners this morning for their gigs in 2026, which run between July 16 and July 26. The Flaming Lips, Lightning Seeds, The Cribs, Agnes Obel, and Benjamin Clementine are among the names topping the bills of the warm summer evenings this year.
Somerset House Summer Series has been running in the capital throughout the 21st century, and has previously welcomed the likes of Little Simz, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Patti Smith, Giggs, black midi, Olivia Dean, and many more.
Speaking on the announcement, Matthew Cook, Head of Live Events at Somerset House, said: “We’re delighted to unveil the curated headliners for this year’s Somerset House Summer Series. Featuring artists spanning a variety of genres and generations, this year’s edition promises to deliver spectacular performances, in the unique setting of the Somerset House open-air courtyard.

When do tickets to the Somerset House Summer Series go on sale?
Tickets to all the gigs go on general sale next week on Friday, March 6 at 10am, and you can find them here. There will also be a pre-sale taking place on Thursday, March 5 at the same time, which you can sign up for here.
