Sluggers are bringing their thrilling baseball batting cages to the rooftops of BOXPARK Croydon.

The team behind Roof East and Birdies Crazy Golf are opening a standalone venue for their incredibly fun baseball batting cages in south London. Sluggers invites players to swing the bat and challenge their friends to a home run over the rooftops of London. The concept, which uses virtual pitchers and could previously only be found at Roof East in Stratford, will become a permanent fixture at BOXPARK Croydon from July 23. For a well-deserved break after striking the ball, kick back at Sluggers’ cocktail bar and treat yourself to delicious Latin fusion street food at their new site. Whether you’re in it to win it or just looking to swing away some of that lockdown stress, grab your friends and find tickets for a session here.

Competitive sports pros can have fun with Sluggers’ lightning-quick pitches and an adjustable speed-o-meter while enjoying sweeping views of London from above. It’s the perfect summer activity to show off your batting skills on a date, or a little action before spending the evening at BOXPARK.

But if you’re more interested in the socialising, drinking, and eating aspect here, you’ll find all of that and more at Sluggers. Your ticket comes with a free cocktail, and there’s an incredible menu of Latin American drinks and street food waiting for you. Cool off with a beer, an authentic Santa Cruz margarita or a La Cabana rum cocktail. The Cuban Box, Guasa, Mr Pork, and Hermanos will be dishing up Cuban sandwiches, pulled pork sliders, Venezuelan arepas buns, Mexican bowls and quesadillas, and so much more. After all, a round of baseball can be quite exhausting, right?
