Calling all pizza maniacs and cocktail sippers – the worlds of dough and distilled drinks are combining this weekend for a first-of-its-kind event here in London. The Slice-O-Mania pizza tasting festival is evolving for 2025, and returning with a brand new format to celebrate the country’s best pizza vendors and cocktail bars.
In what’s being billed as the UK’s first ever pizza and cocktail festival, Slice-O-Mania is taking over the Richmond Athletic Ground from July 18-19. Across the three sessions, attendees will have the chance to munch and sip their way through “up to 15 pizza and pizza themed food traders & 10 cocktail bars”. That’s a pretty hefty number of choices to get through, so you likely won’t be able to try them all. But you can certainly do your best! Especially since they’re keeping prices low so you can sample as many of the traders as your stomach (and head) can handle.
Pizzas will be available for just £3 a slice. And to sip alongside the pies, each of the cocktail traders will have at least one signature cocktail capped at £10. As well as the requisite slices and sips, there will also be unique pizza-y creations, such as the pizza tacos from Nonna’s Tacos and pizza-themed cocktails.
As anyone who has been to past Tacover and Slice-O-Mania events will know, there’s more than just food and drinks. There will also be all manner of entertainment, from games and DJs to competitions and more. There will even be the UK Pizza Eating Championships – you know, for those who somehow haven’t had enough pizza at the festival.

And to wash it all down, you can sip on cocktails from the likes of Polanco, Papi’s Cocktails, and The Tacover Tequila Bar, with more cocktail traders still to be announced. There will even be special pizza-themed cocktails, such as the mind-bending Margherita Margarita.
