If you’ve glanced at our website before, you might have caught us banging on about Sky Garden; a swanky multi-story spot to gaze out over the checkpoints of London’s skyline. And, as we’ve passed the November 1 barrier, it’s officially festive period (that’s how it works), so you best believe the garden up high is getting a winter makeover.
Kicking off on November 23, an alpine bar will grace the presence of Sky Garden, adding a touch of winter to the awe-inspiring panoramic views on offer.
Decorating Sky Pod, which rests 35 levels above the city, and level 36’s City Garden Bar, the new festive spot is crafted by Moët & Chandon, resembling an alpine oasis up high. Plus, as it’s Christmas, punters will be guaranteed a sing-song with an array of live music and bouncy DJ nights scheduled to run every Monday – Saturday evening. An extra-special Christmas hits night on December 23 is also on the cards, guaranteeing a merry little time for all involved.
Doused in frosted-wreath archways, fir tree foliage, classy lights and much more; you’ll feel as if you’ve been whisked away to to a ski-chalet across the pond. For £12-per-person, including a glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne, mulled wine or cider, you’ll surely hit the festive jackpot. Oh, and there’s mince pies and festive cocktails that change depending on the day.
If you’re feeling like a bougie New Year’s Eve, then you’ll find just that around these parts. Swing along to music from a nine-piece band smashing out the hits alongside DJs to ring in the New Year. You’ll get a choice of scrumptious dining packages from Fenchurch (level 37) and Darwin (level 36), and take swigs of champagne in the bars. Bar tables, offering canapés and bowl food, can also be booked.
Ticket entry is from 6.15pm Monday – Friday and from 9.15pm on Saturday. Check out the Sky Garden site for more details.
