Seven Dials is going all out for Christmas 2020.
Nestled in the heart of London, you’ll find Seven Dials. And from tomorrow, you’ll find Seven Dials like you’ve never seen it before. This Christmassy transformation will brighten up anyone’s day and provide shoppers with a healthy dose of festive cheer. This beautiful display includes dazzling lights that will trail the streets of Seven Dials as well as lavish wreaths and colourful baubles. The theme this year is ‘festive woodland’ and you’ll soon see why.
Perhaps the most exciting addition to the area is Mr Claus himself. Every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday until Christmas, Earlham Street will have its very own grotto and a live window display. This will give passersby a chance to catch a glimpse of the man of the hour and his elves hard at work. You won’t even need to leave cookies out to see him!
This West End village is home to dozens of restaurants that will also be partaking in the festivities. Expect enviable decorations and fabulously festive menus all round. If you’re craving cheese fondue, mulled wine or a hearty meal mid-shop, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Those not in support bubbles will be pleased to know that many of these eateries have outdoor seating (and plenty of heating).

If you’re yet to start your Christmas shopping – you’re not alone. You can admire Seven Dials’ makeover while hunting down special gifts for your loved ones. And to keep you entertained during your visit, live music performances will be taking place throughout December. Those partial to a Christmas carol are in for a real treat.
Head of group marketing and communication at Shaftesbury, Karen Baines, said “We recognise that it has been a very difficult year for everyone, which is why we are more delighted than ever to announce the range of Christmas festivities taking place in Seven Dials this year. From Father Christmas’ grotto to our Seven Dials Unplugged live acoustic music sessions there is something for everyone to enjoy safely.” Head on down from this weekend to see it!
