Scouting For Girls have just gone ahead and announced two giant shows in the UK next year, celebrating 20 years since they signed their first record deal.
They’ll play London’s Wembley Arena on Saturday, February 13, which comes the day after a show at Manchester‘s AO Arena. It’s set to be the biggest shows they’ve ever played, and Scouting For Girls will play their debut self-titled album from 2007 in full (think Elvis Ain’t Dead and She’s So Lovely), as well as their other favourites.
For both gigs, they’ll be joined by The Hoosiers as main support, warming up the crowd with their own set of songs that turn 20 in 2027, such as Goodbye Mr. A and Worried About Ray.
Speaking in the announcement on their Instagram page, Scouting For Girls said: “We signed our record deal on 14th February 2007. So to celebrate 20 years of Scouting for Girls, we’re playing the two biggest shows of our career next April… and honestly, we still can’t quite believe it.
“After a sold-out UK tour playing to over 50,000 of you, we honestly can’t wait to do it all again even bigger next year.”
The announcement comes right ahead of Scouting For Girls playing a London show this weekend, with a gig at the Roundhouse tomorrow (March 28)
