When you think of Savile Row, one thing probably springs to mind: impeccable tailoring. The street is filled to the brim with tailoring pedigree and stores selling made-to-measure, ready-to-wear, and bespoke suiting. In recent years, though, Savile Row has been making a name for itself as a must-visit festive destination thanks to its annual Christmas lights display. And this year’s Savile Row Christmas Lights remind us just why. They’ve recently been turned on, and they’re truly magical.
The sartorial street has brought back its twinkling tailoring-inspired Christmas lights for 2025. Because no, you scrooge, November isn’t too early for Christmassy cheer. You can see them glowing above the street along The Row, from the corner of Clifford Street to the corner of Burlington Gardens.
The lights draw inspiration from the street’s history of tailoring, paying homage to an iconic tool found in every tailor’s workshop: a pair of shears. The display shows giant golden shears “cutting through a glittering pealight swathe of ‘fabric'”. And alongside it all, there’s a Christmas message, with the words ‘Savile Row Christmas’ shining in the sky.

This is the third year that Savile Row has thrown its shear-iously good Christmas lights display into the sky. But we haven’t tired of it yet! It’s the kind of display that we love to see. It celebrates the spirit of Christmas whilst also paying tribute to where you physically are when you view the lights.
So, whether you’re in the market for a bespoke tailored outfit, or simply approaching the London Christmas lights with a Pokémon-level of determination (gotta catch see ’em all), be sure not to miss the Savile Row Christmas lights this winter.
