Stumble into London’s very own Narnia, which sits twelve storeys above the city.
Savage Garden’s gorgeous rooftop bar has been transformed into the magical land of Narnia. Step into the wardrobe – ok it’s just the lift, but it’s an enchanted lift – and stroll through the wonderful ‘White Forest’ filled with silver birch and willow trees. You’ll even spot that lamp post in the middle of the bar.
Taking you right back your childhood, Savage Garden’s winter rooftop will be adorned with twinkling lights, copper lanterns, vintage editions of the Chronicles of Narnia, and hand-written luggage tags featuring well known quotes from C.S. Lewis’s story. And, once you’ve got yourself a drink from the bar, you can take a seat on the White Witch’s throne for the ultimate Insta shot!
The drinks are just as magical as the setting, with cocktails such as The Long Winter with pineapple liqueur, orgeat syrup, pineapple juice, ginger and vanilla bitters; Tumnus’s Tea, served hot, with vodka, poppy tea, saffron, condensed milk and star anise; Absolutely Aslan with vermouth, angostura bitters, sherry, cinnamon syrup and chilli bitters; and a Magical Martini with fig liqueur, ‘miracle foam’ and sprinkle with raspberry dust.
Over on their second roof terrace, Savage Garden continues the nostalgia trip inside London’s latest igloo. Decked out with fur rugs and cosy blankets, the fairytale is still in full swing. Before you head back to the real world, make sure you take in the stunning panoramic views of the city, including some of London’s most iconic landmarks.
Winter will pass so get yourselves to Savage Garden as fast as you can.
