There’s a gorgeous rustic wine cellar hidden in the heart of Covent Garden, and this summer it’s hosting a series of white wine tasting experiences in its charming rooms. We’re talking about Courtyard Wine Cellars, and there will be just three tasting events, each held over two evenings, dedicated to particular white wine pours: Chardonnay on July 15 and 16, Sauvignon Blanc on July 22 and 23, and aromatic white wines on July 29 and 30.
Each session promises a slow, indulgent gourmet evening that begins with a glass of Champagne in hand, followed by exquisite pours, accompanied by a delicious selection of fine cheeses and charcuterie. Servings are generous here, and the night unfolds at a relaxed, unhurried pace, so you can savour every sip and bite.
The inviting atmosphere at Courtyard Wine Cellars will make it easy to settle into the evening, with its charming, rustic elegance. Bring your friends and family, or make new ones as the night unfolds – either way, you’re in for a genuinely memorable evening, filled with exceptional wines, fantastic food, and great company.

Experience the refined elegance of Maison Champagne Poirot and a global exploration of Chardonnay grapes, from the classic Louis Jadot to the vibrant expressions of Errazuriz, Zuccardi, Villa Maria, and Résonance, each with its own unique style and flavour.

Expect an exploration of Sauvignon Blanc across continents, climates, and styles. Your tasting journey will take you from the French maison of Joseph Mellot to the masters of Chilean wine Errazuriz, New Zealand’s Villa Maria, and finally South Africa’s family-owned Kleine Zalze.

Savour a South African Chenin Blanc from Kleine Zalze, a Riesling from Schieferkopf in Alsace, a Spanish CVNE Albariño, a New Zealand Pinot Gris from Esk Valley, and a sophisticated Viognier from the esteemed French maison of M. Chapoutier. Discover new favourites and bottles you’ll want to return to again and again.
