In honour of Queen’s five decade milestone, an experiential pop-up shop has been open on Carnaby Street since September 2021. Queen The Greatest celebrates more than fifty years of iconic music history, offering two floors of special merch, music, and experiences. Now, come this weekend, it’s your last chance to bask in the world of Queen at this pop-up. The doors will firmly shut on Sunday, January 9 – so you best let no one stop you now and get down there to see it!
Each month at the Queen store, from October to December, had a dedicated theme: Music, Art & Design, and Magic. Visual installations takes fans through five historic decades of Queen, offering a unique and interactive experience. Visitors can expect album and single releases (plus current and new solo releases from Brian May and Roger Taylor), limited-edition merchandise and lifestyle products, Christmas specials, as well as screens showing archive Queen performances.
To mark the special occasion, a limited edition vinyl of Queen The Greatest Hits were released for the store’s opening, with only 1,000 copies available. For those not lucky enough to get their hands on one of them, the shop also released limited edition music every week throughout the month of October.
Plus, as it’s the final week of the pop-up, it also means this is the last chance to get your hands on one of the guitars signed by Brian May. Moreover, you’ll be able to enjoy 50% off all Queen t-shirts, hoodies, sweats and hats, which include their collaboration with Japanese artist Tokolo; as well as 30$ off the Champion x Queen collection.
Queen (yes, the band itself!) has commented on the launch of their store: “We are pleased to collaborate with Bravado on this project, which will be an exciting experience for everyone to come to London and enjoy. Carnaby Street was the perfect spot for the store to celebrate five decades.”
Find Queen The Greatest at 57 Carnaby Street until January, 9 2022. Opening times are Monday – Saturday, 11am – 7pm, and Sunday, 12pm – 6pm. Find more info on their website.
