There are very few things that us Brits enjoy more than a pub garden, right? Well, this is just like a pub garden. But on steroids. That’s right, folks: celebrity chef, Tom Kerridge, is back again with his much-loved food and music festival, Pub in the Park. And this year, it is set to be bigger and better than ever.
Returning to four picturesque locations in and around London across four weekends this summer; the event is a love letter to the gloriously humble, great British pub, and promises an unforgettable fusion of culinary delights and cracking entertainment. What more could you ask for?
What’s on the menu this year?
All sorts of gastronomic goodness will be served up at this year’s festival from both the hottest new names in the food world and many critically-acclaimed Michelin-star chefs. From local hotspots to nationally renowned restaurants; each park on the tour will be filled to the brim with deliciousness.
With a plethora of pop-ups scattered across each park; visitors can expect to indulge in tasting dishes from the likes of Tom Kerridge, Raymond Blanc OBE, Simon Rimmer, and Yotam Ottolenghi (just to name a few). Firm favourites will be returning to the festival this summer but many will also be making their Pub in the Park debut. Guy Ritchie’s Lore of The Land and London’s beloved The Tamil Prince will both be in attendance for the very first time.
Festival-goers will be able to watch food chats, live Q&As, celebrity interviews, cooking demos and live masterclasses. And as a celebration of the very best of British pub culture, there will of course be plenty of drinks on hand to whet your whistle. From crisp wine and ice cold beer to tasty cocktails and perfectly-mixed spirits; one of the many bars will be serving up exactly what you’re looking for to get you in the party mood.
Who will be performing?
What’s a party without a little bit of live music? Well, as expected, Pub in the Park is also delivering in spades on the entertainment front. The music line-up is – of course – dependent on which of the parks you will be visiting, but guests can expect to be serenaded by the likes of Jess Glynne, Squeeze, Billy Ocean, Will Young, Pixie Lott, Dizzee Rascal and Daniel Beddingfield. Not too shabby, hey?
Anything else I should know?
