West Side Story has had many iterations over the years, but none quite like this one. West Side Cabaret Story, will bring together the classic tale of feuds and forbidden love, and sprinkle it with burlesque icons, breath-taking acrobats and brilliant fire performers. Showing nightly Thursday to Saturday, between September 16 – November 19, at Proud Embankment, the show will make for an absolutely unforgettable night out. The ultimate story of passion and rivalry becomes even more exciting with dance numbers and racy performances at West Side Cabaret Story. Guests can pick their sides, and the cast will fall into two cliques. There are a whole host of heart-stopping performances intertwined with the narrative, including from Shade Flamewater, who will wow the crowd with his world-famous illusionist and fire act; J’Adore La Vie who’ll bring their haute couture burlesque act to the table; and Emily Winters, who will showcase a dare-devil hair hang act, whilst playing classical violin.
It won’t only be the performance that you can indulge in at Proud Embankment; a sumptuous meal and bubbly also await. Depending on your choice of ticket, you’ll receive a three-course meal, or 10-dish tasting experience, and prosecco or champagne. The kitchen at the Waterloo Bridge-side venue prides itself on using only fresh produce. Oh, and you can purchase a selection of decadent cocktails on the night, which have been carefully curated by the in-house mixologist.
