The long-awaited third record by Phoebe Bridgers is dropping this Friday (August 14), and to celebrate this very fact, she will play an intimate show in London next week.
Taking to the Union Chapel on Monday (August 17), Phoebe Bridgers will perform as a solo artist in London for the first time since 2022, marking the release of Lost Weekend. Alongside the show at Union Chapel, Phoebe Bridgers will also perform at Circuit in Kingston on Wednesday, August 19, as well as shows in Brighton (August 20) and Bristol (August 21).
Like recent Phoebe Bridgers gigs in the US, this show will be strictly filming-free, meaning each attendee won’t be allowed to record with phones, smartwatches, cameras, peculiar glasses, or anything else of the like.
Here’s what the event page says about phones on the day: “Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smart watches, and accessories will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event.
“Guests maintain possession of their belongings at all times and can access their phones throughout the event at designated Phone Use Areas in the venue. All phones will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the event space.”
She will perform two shows on the day, one matinee show, to which doors open at 4pm, and another main show, which gets going at 7:30pm. According to the event page, the show will last for around 45 minutes.
You’ll be able to choose from a Lost Weekend CD bundle, LP bundle, or just the general admission ticket when it goes on sale, with albums available to pick up at the venue on the day of the show.
Later this year, Phoebe Bridgers will play full shows on the ‘Lost Weekend’ tour, with two gigs lined up at The O2 in December. Every show on this run will also be phone-free.
