Nothing feels better than getting a bargain on a meal out. Taking advantage of a restaurant promotion or finding a café tucked away that still sells coffee at 2010 prices is enough to give you a little flutter of joy and a little less dismal about your bank balance.
And getting anything completely on the house is, of course, even more of a bonus, and you can do just that next in London by heading over to Greenwich to claim one of 500 free bowls of pho.
Not that one should ask too many questions when free food is dangled in front of them… but what’s the occasion? The Vietnamese restaurant Pho is celebrating the launch of their latest store and will be singing free bowls all day (or at least until they’re all slurped up) next week.
Marking the opening of their 44th Pho store in the UK (and the 17th in London), they will be giving away 500 bowls of the good stuff on September 13, and you can pick out a bowl from their 98% gluten-free menu. Each customer will be given one free bowl of pho, and the offer will run between 12-9pm, or until they run out as the store will run on a first come first served basis.
There are plenty of options to choose from which include the tender beef brisket bowl or a popular spicy chicken option. Their mushroom and tofu number is a popular meat-free dish, but you can pick from any of the pho dishes, as long as you make it before they run out!
Pho Greenwich will open up its doors for the first time on September 13 over at 18 Greenwich Church Street, SE10 9BJ (the nearest stations are Cutty Sark and Greenwich). They will be giving away 500 free bowls on their opening day, which will see the store open between 12-9pm.
