We find ourselves barely a week into 2026, so you may well be still open to trying a cluster of new activities before your calendars start filling up for the busy year ahead. Ticking the boxes of wholesome and delicious, we’ll be ushering you towards a brand new thing to do over in South London, with the launch of Peckham Farmers Market just a couple of weeks away.
Landing at The Belham Primary School on Saturday, January 24, Peckham Farmers Market offers up a weekly get together of more than 25 traders to provide you with a dose of fresh ingredients in a community-led space.

Peckham Farmers Market
Running between 9:30am and 3pm every Saturday (from January 24) the Peckham Farmers Market will be a neighbourhood space to regularly pick up your groceries and stick around to hang out. Particularly at the start of the year when the winter chill is sticking around, it’s the hearty, healthy ingredients you’ll find at the stalls that will give you a much-needed boost at the market. Just think of all those stew-pendous soups and broths you can craft with the pieces you pick up here.
Those perusing the market will be able to find all the staples they need alongside some produce you might not find in a supermarket. We’ve got our eyes on some cheese and charcuterie from The French Comté as well as some grass-fed, slowly reared meat from Pick’s Organic Farm. You’ll also be able to find some organic bread Aston’s Bakehouse, as well as delightful handmade charcuterie from Danefold Farm and all the fresh veg you could ever need from Wild Country Organics.

As well as all the delightful grub you can pick up, it’s also a place to stick around at and enjoy through your start to the day on Saturday mornings. Start out with a coffee from a stand before enjoying some street food for lunch with a glass of wine as you watch some live music, which will regularly be featured at Peckham Farmers Market.
In a press release, those behind the market said: “We want Peckham Farmers Market to be where people come for the freshest, most nourishing food they can buy, with real choice and real variety. You will be able to do your entire weekly shop in one place, discover things you’ve never seen before, and actually enjoy your Saturday while you’re doing it.”
Peckham Farmers Market launches on Saturday, January 24. Find it at The Belham Primary School, Bellenden Road, Peckham, SE15 4DG every Saturday thereafter from 9:30am – 3pm.
