Do you have an absolute favourite decade of music that you love so much, you wish it could surround every fibre of your being? Very specific flex, we know, but we have news of an event coming to The Boiler House on Brick Lane from October 7 that caters to just that – and you can get tickets now! Old But Gold is a brand-new cocktail experience in London that celebrates a variety of music from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s with themed drinks, immersive sound tech, and floor-to-ceiling screens.
While Old But Gold has taken place in Brussels, it comes to our dear capital this Autumn. The space will be transformed into a nostalgic room of good times, with 16 video projectors, 360-degree interactive project mapping and an immersive sound system.
What can you expect from the Old But Gold cocktail experience?
Old But Gold will take you on a trip down memory lane, as you relive some of the best music from the 70s–00s through sound, sight and taste. As you sip on four themed cocktails (mocktails are also available) across the 80-minute experience, you’ll hear the biggest bangers from each decade, and watch music videos and reiterations of the biggest events from the 40-year period. From Whitney to Britney, and even Ninja Turtles and Kill Bill, there’ll be plenty to keep you shouting “I totally forgot about this one!” while getting to hear your firm favourites too.
Old But Gold is limited to just 80 people per session, so you can expect an intimate experience. So, round up your friends, ditch that brunch booking, and instead sing your heart out at this cocktail experience.
