If we cast our minds back to this time last year, Oasis were hammering through shows on their giant reunion ‘Live 25’ tour. If we project forward a year or so, we might have even more of their gigs to look forward to.
The rumours are hotting up about more Oasis shows being announced, with summer 2027 earmarked for the potential next leg of their reunion.

Are Oasis announcing more shows for summer 2027?
It’s impossible to know for sure until you see that official account posting out news of their tour dates, but the signs are certainly starting to point that way.
According to the Manchester Evening News, a ‘music industry insider’ told the publication: “It will be 12 nights at the Etihad Stadium across May and June. It’s just massive for Manchester and for the local economy.
“They could even add more dates to that as well, there’s talk of up to 20. The Wider tour is also going to include a return to Knebworth.”

Should this be true, the dates would likely take place after Manchester City’s football season is over, with their final home match currently pencilled in for the weekend of Saturday, May 22.
The venue in Manchester makes sense, of course, given Noel & Liam Gallagher’s famous love of the blues. According to MEN, a luxury city hotel has also been entirely booked out by the band. Additionally, Parklife Festival has moved to July, away from its usual mid-June slot, which would avoid a clash with the rumoured Oasis Manchester dates.

Equally, a return to the grounds of Knebworth House would track, given the fact that it remains hallowed ground for Oasis after their historic pair of shows in 1996. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the shows, which followed their astronomically successful first two albums, Definitely Maybe [1994] and (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? [1995].
Liam Gallagher also performed two solo shows at Knebworth House back in 2022.
All this is still speculation until we get official news of course, but news is hotting up around the Manchester shows, which bodes well for a full tour in 2027.

Will Oasis play London if they announce more reunion shows?
There is no news on whether a tour would include more London dates, and with the rumours circulating suggesting that Oasis will make a legendary return to Knebworth, it’s possible that these could serve as the nearest dates to the capital.
As you’ll likely recall, Oasis played an eye-watering seven nights in London last summer at Wembley Stadium as part of the ‘Live 25’ dates, which also saw them play in Cardiff, Edinburgh, and, of course, Manchester’s Heaton Park.
In more recent Oasis news, a film documentary directed by Stephen Knight that shows their reunion to the world is slated for a cinema release in September. Following this, the movie, titled Don’t Look Back In Anger, will be available to stream on Disney+.
