
London has heaps of music festivals every summer, but you’ll never be guaranteed a funkier time than when Nile Rodgers & Chic takes to the stage for a party. And that’s exactly what will happen in August at South Facing Festival, with the legendary act just announced as headliners for the event in Crystal Palace Park.
Nile Rodgers & Chic will headline the Love Motion event at South Facing on August 24, which comprises of a day celebrating disco, soul and electronic music.
Speaking on the announcement, Nile Rodgers said: “We are so excited to be bringing you all of the hits in an ‘all killer no filler’ dance party set at the Crystal Palace Park as part of the South Facing Festival!”

Tickets to the Love Motion event at South Facing Festival go on general sale this Friday, February 28. There will also be a pre-sale taking place for the event, which you can find out information about and sign up for via the South Facing website. Time to ensure the Good Times are locked in for this summer and snap up a ticket, wouldn’t you say?
Who else is playing South Facing Festival?
Basement Jaxx, who will play their first shows in 10 years, have already been announced to headline the same festival, topping the bill the day before (August 23) Nile Rodgers & Chic take to the stage (August 24). A number of acts have also been confirmed to perform on the Love Motion day with Nile Rodgers & Chic, which includes Louis Vega, Dimitri From Paris, Cerrone, House Gospel Choir, Kirollus, and Don’t F**k with Disco.
