Calling all lovers of frights, spooks, ghosts, and things that go bump in the dark. An enormous, horrifying new experience is set to arrive in the capital this Halloween – and you won’t want to miss it. The Nightmare Realm is a huge immersive scream park that is winging its way from Ireland to London this October, and it’s set to bring your nightmares to life.
Now, sure, there may be another heatwave on the way to London, and October seems far off. But it is August, which means Halloween is less than two months away! Plus, tickets are already on sale for The Nightmare Realm. The immersive horror attraction will only be in town for 18 nights, and you definitely don’t want to miss your chance to grab a ticket to the award-winning attraction.
The Nightmare Realm will take over the Grade II-listed Avery Hill mansion in Greenwich from October 9 – November 1. They’ll transform the location into the Avery Hill Asylum. The attraction will allow guests to explore a large-scale immersive Halloween experience that blends “live theatre, immersive storytelling and large-scale scare experiences”.
The Nightmare Realm
The Nightmare Realm is one of Europe’s largest immersive horror attractions. It’s been crowned the Best Scream Park in Europe in both 2022 and 2023.
Prior to this year’s relocation, The Nightmare Realm spent 17 years scaring residents and visitors in Ireland. Over the years, they’ve frightened the heebie-jeebies out of visitors from more than 60 countries. Among them were Megan Fox, ‘Wednesday’ star Emma Myers, and members of the Hamilton cast. And now they’re winging their way to London for the very first time.
The new attraction will feature two brand-new cinematic horror experiences, with more than 70 live performers waiting around every corner to scare you. The experience will also feature ‘Halloween Town’, “a fully immersive village where live stories unfold around guests”.
Needless to say, it’s not for the faint of heart. Be warned, all those who visit, you’ll soon be entering the Nightmare Realm.
