It’s set to be a pretty air-mazing year for Stansted Airport, as a whole host of exciting new flight routes are officially ready for take off. That’s right, the UK’s fourth largest airport is – once again – levelling up its offering, having just announced an array of new destinations that you’ll soon be able to fly to from the major London aviation hub.
New flight routes taking off from London Stansted in 2026
From sun-seekers to sight-seers; there’s sure to be a destination to suit even the fussiest of travellers. The new flight routes in question come courtesy of a variety of airlines – one of which, however, has never operated from Stansted Airport before. Turkish Airlines will be making its debut flights from Stansted on March 18, and will be whizzing passengers to Istanbul (which has recently been named the best airport in the whole world) up to 15 times a week from then on. This is a particularly exciting new route, as it opens up easier onward connections to around 353 destinations across Asia, Africa, and Australia.

Stansted’s largest carrier, Ryanair, will be operating twice-weekly flights to Malmo in Sweden from April 1, as well as additional services to Glasgow from March 29. Whilst easyJet will offer a new flight to Paris from March 5, and AJet will be launching flights to Bodrum from June 26.
That’s not all, folks. Jet2.com is upping its Stansted game, too, offering new routes to Jerez in Spain (from May 1), Samos in Greece (May 7) and La Palma in the Canary Islands (from October 26). TUI will launch new flights to Kos from May 7 and finally, BA CityFlying will be adding a new service to Olbia in Sardina from May 23. Not bad, hey?

Ciaran Brannigan, Commercial Director at London Stansted, said: “We’re delighted to welcome new airlines and routes during 2026 that give our passengers even greater choice, value and convenience. London Stansted continues to grow as a key gateway for travel across Europe and beyond, and these additions underline our commitment to offering more destinations and better connectivity for leisure and business travellers alike.”
