Whilst I’m well aware that winter has only just begun to clamber its way on to the horizon, my mind is already racing towards the next sunny season. And apparently I’m not the only one. Because easyJet has just revealed a whole host of handy new flight routes that are set to take off next summer. So, sun-seekers, sight-seers, and everybody in between, you might want to listen up.
18 new routes from the UK were announced by the cheap-and-cheerful airline back in September. But it seems as though they’re going for the ‘can’t stop, won’t stop’ approach, as they then added another 5 to the roster last week. Among the new routes are 6 taking off from London, including the carrier’s first ever flights to Girona. EasyJet is now the UK’s largest airline, serving 22 UK airports and offering a whopping 7650 routes to 139 desinations. Not bad, hey?

New easyJet flight routes from London:
- London Southend to Rhodes (twice a week from April 27)
- London Luton to Thessaloniki (once a week from May 1)
- London Gatwick to Girona (three times a week from June 3)
- London Gatwick to Ajaccio (twice a week from June 30)
- London Gatwick to Cagliari (three times a week from June 30)
- London Luton to Rennes (twice a week from July 1)
Kevin Doyle, UK Country Manager at easyJet, said: “We’re delighted to announce additional new routes for summer 2027, continuing to provide customers across the UK with more choice and connectivity from their local airport.”
“From new services to popular destinations such as Malaga, Cagliari and La Rochelle, to strengthening domestic connectivity between Scotland and the south of England, we’re continuing to grow our network and offer customers even more travel opportunities.”
