The Natural History Museum is launching a new series of fun late-night events for grown-ups.
The giant new whale skeleton suspended above the Hintze Hall, revealed just last week, is a captivating sight.
But the free London museum is also running a series of fab evening events for you to enjoy while you’re there. To wit:
For four nights in August they’ll be transforming the hall into a glorious cinema, screening watery films such as Jaws, Free Willy, Finding Nemo and The Little Mermaid.
For crafty types, the museum is hosting a crochet workshop for you to create a cuddly whale of your very own.
If you’re partial to a bit of CSI, you’ll want to get along to their Crime Scene Live experience, giving you the chance to use real-life forensic techniques on crime scene ‘evidence’ to correctly identify the perp. (Except you can also have a beer at the same time, which is probably not standard police procedure.)
