Who fancies a cheeky Nando’s with a side of dancing?
While the country waits in eager anticipation for June 21 – the day earmarked for the end of lockdown restrictions – Nando’s have been busy making plans. It might be an absolute given that many Brits will be pouring back into the most-popular high-street chicken restaurant, but a lucky few are in for even more of a blast between their walls. That’s because, to celebrate the big day, Nando’s are hosting free parties at their five of their beloved restaurants across the country. Nando’s Yard Unlocked takes place on June 21, and involves turning up the heat by switching the table areas into dancefloors. Plus, to make the party even more wild, some of the UK’s best musicians – including DJ Maximum and Novelist in London – will be performing.
So far, events have been confirmed in London, Leeds, Bristol and Birmingham, with the final location left in the hands of the public. A vote for the last city to hold a Nando’s Yard Unlocked free party is already underway.
Nando’s has granted to priority booking to 4,000 students across the country, including access to an exclusive chance to try their new Pocket PERi-PERi – a mini, portable bottle of hot sauce which also acts as an access pass to Nando’s online youth hub, Nando’s Yard.
However, if this did not apply to you, do not fret! PERi sauce lovers will have the chance to grab tickets for the free parties on May 14 via the pre-sale, or on May 21 on general release. You’ll have to be on the ball, though. With each Nando’s restaurant expected to house around 100-150, we’re sure that these will be sold out before you can say “cluck”.
