Enjoy a meal cooked by a MasterChef inside a 19th century train carriage on The Murdér Express

Cult immersive dining experience The Murdér Express is back in town from May 21, and we think it’s going to be a deliciously dark treat. Travel back in time to the glamour of the 1800’s and choose from a range of delectable cocktails at the Sevin Sins bar, before boarding a lavish 19th century train carriage at Pedley Street Station.

Destination? Murdér, France. Get your tickets here.

Despite the name, there’s never been a murder on this journey. Although that being said, there’s a first time for everything…

First thing’s first, you’ll be served a terrifyingly tasty four-course meal curated by MasterChef 2017 finalist Louisa Ellis.

Enjoy celeriac & truffle soup, beetroot tartare with apple and walnut, braised blade of beef or sage gnocchi, and a buttermilk panna cotta for dessert.

Travelling by train in the 19th century was a thrill taken for pleasure, not necessity – so, once you’re suitably full, make sure to enjoy all the decadence of the era, and take in your lavish surroundings.

You can expect to meet some interesting characters on your journey. Also boarding the luxury ride will be an an East End costermonger, a music hall star, a local antique dealer and a widow in search of adventure.

You’d better hope that The Murdér Express isn’t as ominous as it sounds, because if there is evil afoot, everyone is a suspect…

This is the fourth time The Murdér Express will be departing from Pedley Street Station, but the drama is still as real as ever. This passionate collective of creators have brought theatre to life all over the world – so a chance to board one of their prestigious events is not to be missed. That is, of course, if you dare…
