Haven’t made it to Mulberry’s fashion and music mash-up series yet? Head down to Peckham to catch the third and final event.
Not all pubs are known for being especially fashionable but if there’s one way to instantly change that, it’s by pairing it with Mulberry. And this summer, the luxury fashion brand has taken over three of London’s finest pubs to put on a free live music event unlike any other.
Introducing you to some of their favourite artists, expect an evening of live music with free drinks and food to match. It’s the perfect place to head after work to kick back with friends in a chilled out environment. This summer, the humble pub experience is stepping up a notch.
The “My Local” series is an extension of Mulberry’s AW19 campaign, which celebrates British culture and heritage. The events combine some of London’s best British pubs with a “Mulberry Twist”, encouraging a merge of a traditional setting modernised with new music.
Taking place at Peckham’s Prince of Peckham pub, the third and final event features the one and only Babeheaven. Described as “Warm, fuzzy-hearted alt-pop about the kind of intimate subjects whispered between best friends” by FADER and “A spare, haunting, trip-hoppy gem” by the Sunday Times Culture, frontwoman Nancy promises to put on a one-of-a-kind show.
Supporting Babeheaven will be DJ sets by Foundation.FM, a female-led radio station playing a selection of your favourite tracks. Based in London, they offer a true celebration of music and dance while promoting equality and space for women in the radio world. Combined, it’s an unmissable event.
But it wouldn’t be an evening at the pub without a bite to eat. While you’re there, enjoy some traditional British pub food with free alcoholic and soft drinks to wash it down with. Ready to come along?
