Hang ten or just hang out at The Montague on the Gardens’ tropical beach bar.

Stuck in London for the summer? That doesn’t mean you won’t be able to head to the beach, because one Bloomsbury hotel is bringing the beach to you. Luxury spot The Montague on the Gardens are bringing back their bopping beach bar for another season, launching on June 1st. If drinking tropical cocktails and digging your toes into the sand is your idea is heaven, then this place definitely needs to be on your list.

Really, the convenience of a tropical beach just up the street from the British Museum can’t be overstated. Filled with palm trees, real sand, and beach huts, this is one hot beach bar. Particularly when you throw in a barbecue-heavy food menu to fuel all that Caribbean chilling you’ll be indulging in. There’s even a Beach Bar Jet Ski selfie area where guests can take a selfie on The Montague’s jet ski, and pretend you’re zipping through the crystal-clear waters of the Bahamas.

Preach, sista.

We’ve saved the best for last, though. The Montague beach bar will once again feature a bountiful ‘Brunch on the Beach’. Because no beach experience is complete without a menu featuring the likes of avocado and smoked salmon, mini chicken and bacon burgers, and ice cream cones. Oh, and just FYI, it’s a bottomless brunch. Which means unlimited refills of Pina Coladas, Ocean Breezes, and Dark ‘n’ Stormys.

They’ve also got some beautifully extra party packages – complimentary DJ if you spent £10,000! – but I think we’ll be sticking to the brunch for now. Who needs Barbados when you’ve got Bloomsbury?
