Cringe and complain all you want, but now that it’s November, and there are fewer than 50 days to go until Christmas, the festive season is taking over the city. And one of London’s most gloriously over-the-top Christmas experiences has returned. That’s right, the delightful Miracle at Henrietta Christmas-themed cocktail bar has returned for 2025!
The charmingly festive Christmassy cocktail bar experience has returned for its eighth year of cocktail-fuelled revelry and festivity. All in the most gaudy, tacky, over-the-top way possible. And this year, they’ve moved to a larger venue, allowing for even more tacky decorations and more tables for festive drinkers.

Aimed at transporting you back to Christmases past, an army of throwback Christmas ornaments, colourful lights, and an oversized fireplace transform a space just a few doors down from the Henrietta Experimental in Covent Garden (hence the name) into a ravishingly retro space. It’s outrageously over the top, but we’ll never stop loving it. And this year, it’s doubled in size to welcome in even more festive revellers!
Not sure what to expect? Have a look at your last trip – where we may or may not have had a few cheeky drinks in the middle of the workday:
The drinks are a Miracle
Eye-popping décor is hardly the only string to Miracle at Henrietta’s bow. Their wonderfully wacky Christmas concoctions are just as outlandish. They change up the menu each year, albeit with a few standout faves returning. Old favourites include the Chrismapolitan and the Snowball Old Fashioned. This year, we’re looking forward to trying the Koala LaLaLa, which mixes together tequila, dry vermouth, apple liqueur, tamarind, lemon, eucalyptus bitters, mint, and soda.
And they don’t just come up with fun names for the drinks. The vessels are equally delightful. All the drinks are served in gloriously tacky Christmas mugs and glasses. We’re particularly fond of the ADORABLE dinosaur-shaped Santarex vessel. Just look at that tiny Santa hat!

And, yes, you can buy the delightfully festive glasses and mugs to take home – even the Santa-fied T-Rex! So don’t go tucking them covertly into your bag – do the right thing and purchase a brand new version of the vessel.
Get ready to sleigh those cocktails! Bear in mind, most spots are reserved for bookings, but they do set aside a few tables each evening for walk-in guests. So if you rock up, you might get lucky!
Said the Miracle at Henrietta team:
“Behind the scenes, our elves have been working away in our new space, preparing for our biggest dose of merry mayhem yet. Through our doors, a celebration of kitsch, where tinsel hangs and baubles dangle from branches. The welcome glow of twinkling lights, the scent of Balsam fir, the distant sound of cocktails being shaken. Welcome back to Miracle!”
