“RE-ORCHESTRATED, RE-IMAGINED, RE-LIVED”—the greatest dancefloor fillers in history go for a classical music spin at Ministry of Sound Classical in London. 90s bangers by Fatboy Slim, Robert Miles, Faithless and beyond are reimagined by the 50-piece London Concert Orchestra alongside powerhouse vocalists. The exclusive concert specials will be taking over the Royal Albert Hall for two nights only: 12 and 13 June.
The history behind Ministry of Sound in London
Ministry of Sound first started off as a club in 1991 in a disused bus garage in Elephant & Castle. The idea behind the club was to achieve a haven for London clubbers—a place with cutting-edge sound systems and soundproofing so ravers could party until the early hours without bothering the neighbours.
By the late 90s, the club had become the go-to spot for house, techno, trance and garage fans, earning the title of one of the hottest music-first nightclubs in London. Legends like Larry Levan, David Morales, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong and Roger Sanchez have hosted multiple club nights here.
Beyond the club scene, Ministry of Sound has grown into a wider brand: it runs a record label, annual mix‑compilations and international events in Ibiza and beyond, all revolving around the core of club culture.

Modern hits reimagined: more classical concerts in London

The Candlelight series is also reimagining contemporary hits through the classical lens inside Central Hall Westminster and Southwark Cathedral.
